Password Reset Issues

Not Receiving Password Link or Verification Email

Firewall Issue

Most of the time, this can be due to the firewall if they are using a company email.

If users face login problems due to not receiving verification emails, especially with company emails and firewalls, they can resolve it by:

  1. Adjusting firewall settings to allow "@picupmedia.com."
  2. Troubleshoot by signing up with a personal Gmail account on the GemLightbox sign-up page (https://hub.gemlightbox.com/auth/signup).
  3. If the verification email is received, follow the instructions to confirm the account.
  4. Consider switching to the new account for convenience if login issues persist.

Incorrect Email Entry

Other times, it can be due to incorrect entry of the email associated with the GemHub account.

To avoid this, ensure that the correct email is used when requesting for a password reset.

No Email Registered

In some instances, this can be due to the email not having a GemHub account. In this case, users can sign up for a new account by following these steps:

Browser Issue

The user could be using a browser which does not support the receipt of either the password reset email or verification email. In this case, we will recommend for customers to start with Google chrome as the recommended browser before trying other browsers like Safari or Microsoft Edge.

GemHub not logged out

When trying to reset passwords, users may encounter issues of the link bringing users back to the GemHub in your account. In this cases, you can try logging out of the GemHub and then clicking on the same link again on the email that you receive.
