If you're experiencing focusing issues with your GemCam, it is likely due to the camera being too close or too far from the object.

Follow the steps below to properly align the GemCam’s focus:

1. Remove the front cover of the GemLightbox Pro.
2. Place a piece of jewelry in the center of the turntable.
3. Remove any additional lights.
4. Position the GemCam as close as possible to the jewelry piece (no need to worry about focus at this point).
5. Slowly move the GemCam back until the item is in focus.
6. Adjust brightness accordingly before capture.

Check Camera Lens

As with any camera lens, they can get dirty over time. Use a microfiber cloth to clean the GemCam lens.

Minimum Focal Range

The GemCam has a minimum focal range of 5-10 cm (2-4 in). Ensure that the GemCam is within the minimal focal range in order for the focus to be aligned

Reconnect Cable

Disconnect the USB - C / USB - A cable and reconnect it again.
